Just curious if you have received any word from Comma about your order. I’m just trying to get a feel the delivery time frame, as I’m about to place an order myself. Thanks.Looks perfect. I ordered during thanksgiving and still waiting for comma4 shipment.
I have a radar detector tapped into the mirror harness. How are you powering comma?
I like how close it’s to the mirror plastic and it’s nicely tucked in and not in the center of the glass.
Can you also share links to the mount?
They took a break over the holidays and for CES and they just started shipping again yesterday. I believe they will get through most of their backorders by the end of the month and then be on a normal delivery timeframe after that.Just curious if you have received any word from Comma about your order. Yes, you will need the additional longitudinal harness adapter from Lukas at xnor.shop . As for customs, tariffs and travel time, he has shipped stock to the USA already, so the added fees and delivery time are already taken care of. There would be no additional charges to you.I ordered my Comma 4 in December and got it in early February. After installing it (plugging the harness in the AVX is no joke), I'm reasonably happy with it. However, I have one question that I can't seem to find a simple answer to when it comes specifically to the Comma 4. Apologies if this is too basic of a question.
Everything I've read so far says the Lukas Harness & the harness that comes with the Comma 4 is the same. BUT (and here's the question) if I want longitudinal (acceleration & braking) I need to buy the longitudinal upgrade kit from Xnor (https://xnor.shop/products/rivian-r1s-r1t-gen1-longitudinal-upgrade-kit?variant=53071588098371)? Which is currently 349EUR, which is about $410 USD. The harness that comes with the Comma 4 is not able to do acceleration/braking, even if I use the SunnyPilot software fork?
Meaning if I want the comma to steer and accelerate/brake, the total project is really about $1500 (after shipping and any customs/tarrifs) and I need to install SunnyPilot. Does that sound about right?
Is there a domestic alternative for the longitudinal upgrade kit? Between the tariffs/customs and travel time, I'd prefer to buy domestically.
THANK YOU for the information. That's good to hear there's some US stock on the longitudinal upgrade.Yes, you will need the additional longitudinal harness adapter from Lukas at xnor.shop .
