BMW is cooking with the iX3 (more akin to R2) and the i3 - which really should carry a different name since the i3 came out a dozen years ago. Looking forward to see this five seat EV SUV segment get cooking.

I saw a video with the autonomous driving capability of the iX3 which was an advanced L2 system. Is that included in the price? If so that helps close the price gap.

Not much to say. I think they nailed it. The looks will grow on people over time as it always happens with BMW. The specs are on point. Hard to see this failing tbh, assuming the price isn't atrocious. I hope (and truly believe) this will succeed and likely push BMW to go full EV in the coming decade.

Edit: but just reading that M Series is going to have a quad motor setup so... the Mrs is going to want one of those.

BMW will have a model in every class that is full EV. Next is the X5 then the X7 each sedan will also get updated over the 3 years. The iX7 will crush this segment, perfect timing to replace my current x7
