January/Feb delivery windows

I am likely going to need a truck before the years end. Is this what folks are seeing right now? My truck appears to be a 7295 order number.

What's your configuration (all of these factors change delivery estimates: Launch Edition/Adventure/Explore, Large/Max Battery Size, exterior color, interior color)? What's your estimated delivery window?

You also described this as an update email, have they previously provided a delivery window to you? Wondering if this might have been a system glitch, something triggered by a recent config change, or perhaps just a somewhat poorly worded attempt to let you know that your delivery window would be provided later this year.

I got a call from CS beginning of January. They told me adjust my pack to large pack by Jan 31st to guarantee delivery in 2022. I made the changes 3 weeks ago and this is the first communication since then. I was never provided with a window other than it’ll be here in 2022.

How about the fire department? State park and forest systems? Jails? Keeping your water clean? Paying your state employees?

To be clear, I’m fine with all that. Just don’t rely on taxing products you’ve gone out your way to erect legal obstacles in a ethically dubious scheme to protect overly represented monied interests.

We have 100+ forum members in the delivery date poll with their dates in the March-April range. I think we are going to know in the next 2-3 weeks how realistic these dates that Rivian is sending us are depending on if these folks get the call (or not).

I’m not sure about that. We have 2 with Jan/Feb dates in this forum. In 2-3 weeks we will no if their window was met. We will have no idea if the Mar/Apr windows were met until late April, given that they don’t give you a precise date until the car is built and on a transport truck.

Well I can't speak for anyone else (especially the Jan/Feb folks), but the moment I know if my Mar/Apr delivery is actually happening, I fully plan on letting the Forum know. Be that March 1st or April 29th

Just an FYI... I'm one of the very rare people to have a February/March delivery date so I reached out to my guide for some info.

She didn't have an exact date but said she checked around with the teams and my delivery timeline is still valid.

She also said once a VIN was assigned to my build she would let me know.

I was hoping for something more concrete bit it's better then nothing.

No reason to get a call in 2-3 weeks to get a car delivered by the end of April. Don't need a call for at least 6-8 weeks (at the long end). They will deliver trucks this month to be able to highlight them on 3/10 - which means 3-4 weeks lead time works.

this is how it’s been with any car I’ve ordered from a dealership. They know basically nothing about dates until it’s serialized.

Thanks. I wanted to do the max battery pack, but I read somewhere that this option was pushing the delivery dates to 2023.

I wanted to do the Adventure Package, 22" wheels (black), couldn't care about the interior option - black if fine. Gear tunnel shuttle. Cargo crossbars.

Nothing too fancy.

What would you estimate the delivery on that optioned truck would be?
