Agree. I have first hand experience with this. I swapped out my OEM all-terrain 20s to Pirelli AS3+ 20s and the El Segundo service center was able to recalibrate my truck to the 21s because of the similar specs.

We make frequent trips to Mammoth from LA and we usually make stops at Inyokern and Bishop. We recently stopped at the Olancha RAN but only on the way back to LA. I wasn’t sure if it was really up and running when we went up Friday night and didn’t want to be stuck in the middle of the night...

I got it replaced because Safelite deemed it unrepairable. My insurance didn’t reimburse for the tint. I didn’t bother telling them since it’s technically illegal to have full windshield tint in CA and figured they wouldn’t have reimbursed for it anyways.

From LA to Zion it’s quite a bit of some up hill especially to Las Vegas. And it was hot!!!! Like 100+!! In Barstow it was 110 and in Mesquite it was 120 while we charged.

We just completed our trip to Zion from LA. Charged at Barstow then at Mesquite. All on conserve mode. From Barstow to Mesquite I charged to 98% and was left with 60 miles to spare. Autocamp Zion has chargers so that was super helpful so we didn’t have to battle other EVs at the park. Highly...

I actually don’t have concerns. I just completed a trip from LA to Zion and was very happy with the way the tires handled and the improvement in range. I’ll post soon my numbers.

The service center had to request the software to do the recalibration. That took time but once they had it, it took like 30 mins in to install.

Yeah…they didn’t give me a hard time. It was $100 for it and I was in the service center for about 2 hrs.
