Posting this video here too. It covers most things you can do with Rivian Assistant. There are some issues but I’m sure Rivian will fix them in time. Also, someone asked about submitting bug reports to Rivian. Jose provides an example of how to do this via Rivian Assistant.

Here's hoping soon... Looking forward to not having to scream over my music to my phone to try and send a text, only to have my phone tell me it must be unlocked to do this, and force me to look away from the road to do so, or just give up for safety's sake. I have a building full of functional idiots who require constant contact to keep them from certain catastrophe.

pausing the music and saying "hey siri, message..." has always worked well for me. And since Rivian Assistant 1.0 doesn't support group messages I will still be using Siri A LOT. What I'm looking forward to is reading the incoming ones for me.

That’s unfortunate, especially considering Rivian highlighted the ability to manage your calendar in the videos I’ve seen so far.

yeah...apparently managing calendar and setting reminders are somehow two different functions. Maybe I can tell it to set a meeting with myself to remind myself to do something

To be fair, Rivian likes to break already working stuff in new releases. I think the trip meter font might be readable now (after 2 months of unintentionally breaking it)

OK, so I am just asking if anyone has tested A+ with the new update because I am interested if it has gotten better or not. I understand most of the update is about RA, which is a great feature BTW, but it also includes improvements to A+. If you don't care about it, fine. Someone does.

I just got used to CarPlay being able to naturally interrupt when voice prompted. Reading the incoming without screaming to siri will be good too

Welp, yet another disappointment. Voice control will not fold the mirrors.

Edit: Also can't control the windows, can't toggle the hazard lights, can't activate windshield wipers, can't do anything with the headlights or turn signals, can't save dash can footage, can't restore seat position, can't change charge limit or amperage, can't toggle hotspot, can't turn on camp mode, and you can't lock/unlock the doors. In addition, the voice assistant can't give you consumption data, can't open the center console, can't fold the seats, can't lock storage bin, and gives completely inaccurate information about nearest chargers (looks like it's using the major city I'm in as a reference instead of my current GPS location).

Rivian: Doesn't seem like your voice assistant can do anything particularly useful that might actually save the driver from having to interact with the touchscreen while driving. But I will say kudos to the fact the voice assistant seems to understand what the driver wants.
