I miss my Limestone on Forest Edge which they don’t make anymore! Glad to see forest edge is back. It’s very underrated. So sick of grayscale interior (and exterior) colors.

Nice! Love our R1T LE with the Forest Edge interior. Tempting but for price difference to a new Quad, can get an R2 so I I’ll be going that route. Now if they would have launch R2 with a limited Forest interior, then we are talking. Such a beautiful interior color.

I almost went with forest edge originally but the seat bases door cards and panels below the dash still being black was too jarring for me. The original 4500 upcharge to me wasn’t worth it. At 9k I don’t think many people will do it. At that point you’re starting to get into custom interior prices.

The 9000 includes the Max battery upgrade over Large, sound and sun package, darkout package and the 3 exterior colors are included. It's actually a decent savings.

Oh you’re right my mistake, looks like it includes PTC as well.

Agreed! I had FE in my 2022 R1T, it was nice- but the ascend interior in my 2026 is nicer. I'd be tempted if it came back in the ascend...

Rivian, please listen to us. Give us another option besides black or white for the interior options on the R2!

I guarantee they will introduce other interior color options for R2 down the road, just not now...Ha!

Love my double-forest green truck...was a shame they got rid of that combo. Whenever they get around to a Gen3, I hope it has enough changes to make me want to upgrade from Gen1 (better thermals / charging performance and larger battery pack for towing) and they bring back the FE interior option.

I really like Forest Edge. My favorite pairing is with Launch Green.

It would have been cool to see this paired with Rivian Green on Gen 2 Quads.

Hell yeah. One thing I like about the Forest Edge interior is that it’s available for the Dual-motor R1T/S. Although you do have to get the Max Pack with it, which you’ll probably want anyway ($7,000 for the bundle). The Tri and Quad-motors get the Slate Sky interior ($3,000). I think they should offer them on every trim and color, but I get the exclusivity angle.

Hopefully they’ll offer interiors like these on the R2 and not just the R2X/Tri-motor. I’d love to see a tan or warm brown seats with a brown or lighter wood trim and a dark headliner. Call it the Midnight Forest interior. I think the dark headliner would really make the warmer brown/tan seats and accents pop. Pair that with any color and it’s going to look more rugged and adventurous.

If they produce an R2X down the line I’m sure it will have a unique interior option. I think this is one of the many things that sets Rivian apart.

Once they get the R2 off and running I’m sure more exterior and interior color options will become available. It might take a couple of years though.

I have a coworker who is also getting an R2 in my office. We were talking this morning about our configurations. We both around the same time lamented not having a brown interior option (she said camel and I said pecan). I really hope we see a sand or a brown option on the R2X. Likely not for another a year or two like you said, but things like that would help the R2X feel significantly different and would definitely get people to switch up from their current R2s. Brown would actually go well with just about all the current exterior options (outside of maybe Catalina Cove and Borealis).

We'll see.
