Plaid just lets you grant read-only access to your bank accounts to a 3rd party for verification purposes. They aren’t a payment processor like Zelle or Venmo.

This is what confuses me about Plaid...I don't think they have an app. So I'm guessing they're just in the background of all/most banking apps?My interactions with Plaid have all been through financial institutions, not straight between me and Plaid.
Financial institutions trust Plaid, which may have been around longer than Venmo or Zelle.
Best to all!
That's correct - you the user interact with Plaid through Rivian's app, connecting your bank account etc. This is what confuses me about Plaid...I don't think they have an app. So I'm guessing they're just in the background of all/most banking apps?
Rivian should make a deal where you can order on Amazon and use their 5% cash back card.I was hoping to bank a shit ton of points and pay that balance off instead.
Perfect, thanks! That's correct - you the user interact with Plaid through Rivian's app, connecting your bank account etc.
I tried and failed. Never hurts to ask though. Best wishes, adventure on!Hi
I'm wondering if Rivian allows for part of the purchase price to be put on a credit card?
