It's just a fancy name for Pleather or Plastic Leather or Vinyl. Nothing Vegan about it. It's made from petroleum that comes from dead dinosaurs, so neither vegetarian or vegan.Tesla’s have the same issue. Seems like it is more of a problem with “vegan” leather not actual leather.
What exactly are you using these days, I doubt it's as generic as you're indicating, probably used the same stuff for a long time?Just regular drugstore sunscreens, mostly the ones from Trader Joe's. I have always used those and never had it eat into any of the other cars I've driven.
Also what are you cleaning your car with? Could be the cleaner being used on the interior, that'd be my guess.
