Based on all of the pictures and the configuration page, it looks like they haven't brought over the halo wheels

800v pack is a huge change to do as part of a quicky refresh. I think that will come when there's a bigger overall re-design.Honestly, more updates than I was expecting given so much focus on the R2. Switch to 800v would have been a homerun, but these updates are nice. All in all, kudos to Rivian for keeping things competitive. I don’t think this will spike R1 sales or anything, but will definitely keep them steady IMO
Is a drop window in an R1T even possible with the gear tunnel and the tonneau cover?Wow this is such a whelming update for 2027. Seems like they’re going to save the halos for a 28 model, or my hope, a real platform refresh when Georgia opens in 29. I want an R1T with a drop window in the back.
Yeah, there needs to be some sort of aftermarket gap filler between the seats when car camping. That's a significant space, guessing around 8 inches??hmmm... glad I got my unicorn 2026 Ocean Coast Tri with bench seats... Easier for sleeping in the car when camping than the captains chairs.
I was hoping they would at least update the ADAS to RAP1. Pretty un-compelling to me. I think R1 is going to struggle. OTOH probably good for resale since there is no difference between this one and our 2025.Honestly, more updates than I was expecting given so much focus on the R2. Switch to 800v would have been a homerun, but these updates are nice. All in all, kudos to Rivian for keeping things competitive. Wish they had this option from the start. That could've prevented some sales to EV9, Ioniq9, Model X, EX90 etc.https://rivian.com/
Finally captains chairs. Really, really makes the R1S the perfect car for us now.
