Yea, I've rarely visited a dealership for anything after warranty was up on any other vehicle. Not sure why everyone here thinks RIvian service is the only place to get things automotive based.
Admittedly, Rivian only sells wheel and tire combos, either as a spare or full sets. Not wheels alone... If you take the cost of the OEM tire out of the spare tire item, you get about the same price for the wheel (I did the math for the 22" "range" wheel and tire as a quick test).
Some people want the OEM wheel for their spare. I did..... but I also ended up buying it from a Rivian Club member for dirt cheap - $200 bucks for the wheel and tire!
For a spare, a 21" wheel would work since the tire diameter is the same as the 22". Bonus is that people seem to be willing to accept a lot less for them when selling them used.
Not true. I bought a brand new wheel (no tire) from Rivian. Mobile service dropped it off when they were at my house for a service call too.

Not true at all. And they charge absolutely insane prices for a wheel, and 4x++ what it should cost to mount and balance it. I happened to need a wheel recently. Got it on eBay for $480 and paid $25 to mount and balance.
Totally get having a factory matched setup, I just don't get the need for the dealership to intervene at any level for that sort of thing.

I ordered over the phone with my service center. $650 for one wheel if I recall.
