My only issue that wasn't self-inflicted is that sometimes when the temperature drops well below freezing the side mirrors are reluctant to deploy.

We have a sub 6k build and have not had any issues that weren't self inflicted.
We are trading it in. Someone will get a great used one.
I think we would have waited if we had the Rivian Care available, but...
A lot of it is that I can't fix some of what people complain about myself. The suspension isn't a driveway repair. I think it will be with the R2. 🤞

Not for nothing (I've always wanted to work that into a convo), when my Escalade had the same amount of miles, It already had a transmission and the top half of the motor rebuilt.
It is currently on its third motor rebuild and second transmission (3 torque converters) @ 200k. And costs about $125 every fuel stop (2-3x/week). Just saying.

Only had the 12V batteries replaced under warranty so far. About 36K miles with 20K of those being in Alaska so not the easiest environment.
Keeping an eye on the front suspension and noticed a strange noise from the driver rear window when lowering recently but neither of those have needed service yet.

I would say good overall. Quite a few small issues, but the wait time for repairs has been stupid.

I think overall I got a good one. But I also plan on getting rid of it before the warranty ends because the costs to repair this thing is just STOOOPID!

Our R1T is less than 200. Same experience. Still love my truck.

R1T, 55K miles. Ting washers replaced at 40K other than that it has been rock solid. In line to order an R2 to the family.

Had a few annoying Infotainment resets while driving. The wife really doesn't like those.
Just one special visit to the service center, for proactive 12v replacement at 17k miles / 18 months.
Two FSAMs were handled during visits for rotating tires:
- FSAM-1507: Tighten hub to knuckle fasteners in 4 locations.
- FSAM-1678: Replace front Halfshaft/ting washers.

My question: How often is there something wrong with the suspension and I just don't know it?
My concern: I park/hike in the Rockies often, without cell service. Might I return to a brick and then have a multi-hour ordeal? Have I been lucky so far, or is this rare?

I'm in the "Good" category, although could probably say "Great" if it wasn't for the mobile technician screwing up the 12V battery recall that bricked the truck. Other than that, pretty smooth sailing at about 20K miles of local commuting, work trips throughout Florida, a trip up to Western North Carolina and a few towing trips down to the Keys.

3.5 years and 41k miles on my R1T. It has had many many wobbles and creaks from the suspension: just had an alignment, CV boot leaked, half shafts replaced, ting washers checked, AC draining inside the cabin 2x, etc.

I voted great.

This is for an R1S, have not had the R2 long enough to really have a say but so far the R2 has been great As well

For the R1S there have been a couple of small things but nothing that prevented normal use in 3.5 years and 53.6k miles including several cross country drives.
