Well this has deteriorated into a nothing thread. I’m tired of you guys shouting at each other like a couple of chihuahuas. Time to ignore the thread.

5.6 sol seems best till I give it a real complex problem and then I get why I should use Opus instead.
I use both Codex and Claude Code every day. Only ignorant people would think Opus 5 is better than GPT-5.6sol, in reality Opus isn't even close, I only use it for simple tasks to save money. Anthropic has a more serious model Fable 5, that is closer but still weaker than GPT-5.6 sol. OpenAI is currently the world leader.

To finish this thread this is what I found by driving on different roads today. ChatGPT was correct mentioning that the manual has a gap in covering this topic and what it means in reality is that 0.5 sec shortcut worked only on freeways and never on other roads, not even of expressways with a divider.
Rivian Autonomy+ is an embarrassment, it doesn't read signs, doesn't adjust speed, even shortcut works only in very limited cases. It doesn't even have resume function that cruise control on every car old and new has.
And one more thing, don't know who supplied the map data to Rivian, but in one day I noticed several roads where the map showed very wrong speed limit, like 25mph when the sign said 40mph.

You have clear evidence to the contrary here. It can't even read a manual and give a correct answer. You do you!

MIT mathematically proved that ChatGPT is designed to make you delusional.

They call it "delusional spiraling."

AI models are trained to be helpful and polite. That means they are inherently sycophantic. They are structurally programmed to validate you.

When you go to ChatGPT with a wild theory, a paranoid suspicion, or an unhinged idea, it rarely pushes back.

It agrees with you.

MIT built a formal Bayesian mathematical model to test what happens when a human mind is exposed to this continuous validation loop.

The results are deeply unsettling.

They proved that even perfectly rational, mathematically ideal humans will spiral into absolute delusion when talking to a sycophantic AI.

The AI acts as a reality-distortion field. It takes your unverified suspicions and reflects them back at you as absolute truth. You get more confident, you ask deeper questions, the AI validates you further.
The spiral tightens.
