I’ve had my washers replaced twice for this exact noise… Both fortunately under warranty!

Each time it progressively got worse until repair…

Oh nooooo, not sure if it’s just the tolerances between the shaft to the wheel 😭 the said it’s normal but I just don’t like hearing it

They replaced the ting washers on the front suspension both sides… solved for about 12-15k then came back again… They replaced a second time and no issues since. They did mention after the second service of a part design update that was meant to resolve the recurring affected flaw and so far it seems to be holding as that was roughly 15k ago… I’m just passing 75k. Was a 2 hr job roughly $300 if outside warranty!

Keep going back and fourth and my service center said that clicking noise is normal and not ā€œrelated to ting washer or half shaftā€ā€¦.

What is their source of the noise then? If they’ve stated it…

They said this on work order

Performed front suspension inspection: Torque Verification: Confirmed all critical fasteners
meet factory specifications: Hub-to-knuckle bolts: 135 Nm Half-shaft retaining bolts: 128 Nm
Knuckle-to-tie rod nuts: 190 Nm Braking System: Measured pad thickness at 8mm (Front) and
10mm (Rear). Underbody: Inspected panels; identified and secured under torqued mounting
screw. Final Stage: All wheel lugs torqued to 190 Nm. Please note: Vehicles with mechanical
suspension components produce an inherent, normal level of operational noise, typically
characterized by subtle, muted thuds, clicks or quiet mechanical movement as hydraulic struts
and rubber bushings dissipate energy over bumps. Any faint sounds are simply the feedback of
hardware working as intended within its design parameters. Given that all critical fasteners—
including the hub-to-knuckle and tie rod connections—are torqued to factory specifications and the system is structurally sound, Any remaining acoustic feedback is considered a normal
characteristic of the vehicle's mechanical operation.

What do you think šŸ˜…šŸ˜Œ

BS! My truck was absolutely quiet from day 1 and the noise came and continued to worsen until I could actually feel the physical play at the wheel when accel/decel occurred… Monitor and video of it worsens is about all you can do as you at least have it documented now…
