Hopefully the December 1st comes true for the 275/65R20. Interested to see how much better the efficiency is compared to the Pirellis. I'll be swapping them the same day I pickup my Tri-motor.
No, I judge too. Especially when BMW started putting M badges on non-M cars. Like how do you have a X5 M and a X5 M60i? There should only be one M model.
I'll be honest, if you can afford a Rivian then why are you Ubering? The risk of someone making a mess of your car all for minimum wage is bizarre. Maybe I'm out of touch but I just presumed Rivian owners would all have at least six figure incomes, whilst ubering full time probably brings in...
Agreed, as a general purpose, do everything well with good mileage, it’s hard to beat them for SUV’s and pickups.
Then you have the Pilot Sports for high performance vehicles which are just phenomenal.
No problem, I’ll be sure to keep watching and update everyone once I know more.
I’m in Texas currently so snow performance isn’t an issue for me. I don’t want the platinum as they look worse in every way to the LTX M/S2’s aside from looks. Hopefully they will be coming out shortly!
I was...
Unfortunate update. I looked on Michelin's website and still no sign of the 275/65R20 so I emailed them. They didn't say it's not coming, just there's no longer a date for it.
Do you think he could share the file with me? I can make stuff in CAD but if he’s already tested the size and dimensions then this makes it easier. What material did he use? ABS?
This would be a great option, I can make slots for the SSD, pistol, magazine, Leatherman etc.
Yes it’ll be the same for my kids. My wife is actually the more raised with guns type, having grown up on a Texan ranch. My exposure was a mix of scouts and then military.
Thank you but I didn’t serve in the US military, alongside at times though and I’m a US citizen now. Yeh the Velcro seems cheap and simple. I’ll give it a try.
Yeh I take gun safety extremely seriously. I'll teach my kids when they are older but until then I need to keep them strictly out of their reach at all times. I'd rather be unarmed than risk one of my kids getting access to a firearm.
I think I'll go with the velcro option and just keep my Sig P365X in the cubby and wait for Rivian to release an official locking drawer.
I may also 3D print or fabricate a U shaped device do hold my gun to the side using the IWB holster clip, extra mag, Leatherman Arc.
That could be a good option. Can it be locked when not driving? I don’t want it stored somewhere that my kids could get to. My two year old finds his way into everything and is infinitely curious.
It has to go in the cubby as I have kids and can lock it. I’ll only keep a gun if I believe my kids can’t get to it. I don’t live in a bad area but years in the military just makes me want one on me at all times.
Weird how they didn’t mention the size you asked about then? Maybe a mistake?
I have a XC90 that needs new tires too. Looking forward to ridding the car of the OEM Pirellis and going to Michelin.
