Holster/Holder for gun?

I think I'll go with the velcro option and just keep my Sig P365X in the cubby and wait for Rivian to release an official locking drawer.

I may also 3D print or fabricate a U shaped device do hold my gun to the side using the IWB holster clip, extra mag, Leatherman Arc.

If you have small kids, then definitely would get some kind of lock. The one above is finger printed protection so kids won't get to it. Our kids are grown, they have their own guns

Yeh I take gun safety extremely seriously. I'll teach my kids when they are older but until then I need to keep them strictly out of their reach at all times. I'd rather be unarmed than risk one of my kids getting access to a firearm.

You will be ok with the speaker replacement above since it is locked and only unlock with your finger print. Gun safety is a must !!!

It has to go in the cubby as I have kids and can lock it. I’ll only keep a gun if I believe my kids can’t get to it. I don’t live in a bad area but years in the military just makes me want one on me at all times.

Thank you but I didn’t serve in the US military, alongside at times though and I’m a US citizen now. Yeh the Velcro seems cheap and simple. I’ll give it a try.

Yes it’ll be the same for my kids. My wife is actually the more raised with guns type, having grown up on a Texan ranch. My exposure was a mix of scouts and then military.

We use velcro quite a bit for our cars and at home. Cheap solution for sure.

I just drive with it on my person, IWB/SOB/OWB, depending on the season and the gun.

Too many guns stolen from cars overnight in our area, well everywhere we've lived (FL/TX/GA) so far.

I haven't found a great spot for it either, but need to spend more time really looking hard. I'd like to have it available enough for "shit happens" and don't have kids to consider. One option inside the cubby is simply a very good magnet on the side of it. Like those under-desk magnets specifically for pistols. I'm not sure that's where I want it, but it's an option.

Do you think he could share the file with me? I can make stuff in CAD but if he’s already tested the size and dimensions then this makes it easier. What material did he use? ABS?

100% That slot on the front side fits the Samsung T7 SSD perfectly.. the other slots fit the manual. I fit a magazine under the handle.

Thank you very much. I’ll probably customize it for my P365X and IWB holster. I plan on using a Samsung T9 which is a pretty close size.
