Thanks for all the input so far - much appreciated. This forum has been super helpful. Seems like some did, some didn't and it's more of a personal preference.
After waiting nearly 2 1/2 years I finally got asked to confirm my configuration (order placed May 2021) and was then invited to begin the purchase process for my R1T, Performance DM Max Pack (VIN 28xxx). My question for those who have gone before me is did you sign the EDR consent (Event Data...
You were right! Invited to begin the purchase process, guide assigned and I have a VIN (28xxx). Not invited to schedule delivery yet but guide told me my R1T will likely be at SC in November - vs. my last delivery window of Dec 23-Jan. 24. Pretty pumped to get it early! Thanks!
Yep. I received the exact same email and after having shop access for the last 10 months while I wait for my own pre-March 2022 Max Pack order I suddenly have NO access to the R1 shop!!
I have a May 2021 order for an R1T Max Pack with an estimated delivery in Dec. 23/Jan. 24 and I just got invited to confirm my configuration. First true sign I’ve seen that my R1T is going to be built s00n ??. Can’t wait!
I really hope this is true but I would have expected Rivian to provide more details about the max pack other than to just say it’s more energy dense before it actually gets released. Regardless, I hope it’s true and my December 2023 estimated delivery date is a legit possibility.
Getting rust on the rotors is actually fairly common on EV’s if you rarely use the physical brakes which is why I think it’s recommended to use them periodically. FWIW it served me well during my 8 years of owning a Tesla Model S and minimized any problems.
Yep, I hear you. I’m not thrilled about the wait and all the changes either but it does “feel” like we are getting closer to an actual Max Pack vehicle being produced for sale to those of us patiently/impatiently waiting….
Glad we finally got an EPA number for the Max Pack. On the 21’s (which is my configuration) the 410 miles is actually better than I was expecting. RJ hasn’t really provided any details yet about the Max Pack other than maximum range up to 400 miles and a “more energy dense“ pack. My pre-March...
First evidence I’ve seen of an actual Max Pack vehicle…..hopefully that bodes well for production this year and Rivian meeting my estimated delivery window of Dec 23 - Jan 24. ?
This cut seems like a potential safety issue, not sure why Rivian seems to be focused on things like magnets, 12V outlets and the horn instead of making things like the camp speaker an option and replacing it with a much cheaper and useful locking drawer? Seems like there are things that can be...
I’m guessing Rivian will prioritize performance dual configurations vs. non-performance dual configurations since it’s more profitable - supposedly just a software upgrade.
Just got my new estimated delivery date and as I suspected - pushed back to Dec. 23 - Jan 24 from Oct 23 - Dec 23. At this point I just want the truck......
