Just measuring out specs for a new garage I'm building to hold the R1T (gotta give it a real home!). I see on the Rivian web site the specs that list the height in various ways (below). But can't find anywhere that shows a measurement WITH the rack on the rooftop. Anyone know, or can make an...
Some great parts to this video. Here are some of the things I noticed that stood out to me:
The fleet of "test drive" vehicles will be also used as service support vehicles (I presume this means they would be the replacement loaners for a repair)
I love that the example of the pro-active repair...
Looks to me like it would be Colorado Springs. The RAN map has two dots for the Denver area, with a bit of separation for the next dot. If you look at previous RAN map (below), the charging station is clearly in Springs.
The service station map has that same separation.
BUT, it's all...
any word if Rivian would also qualify for the extra 5k referenced in the proposed new legislation?
Made in USA - yep
Union - nope.

Guessing that Denver is one of the supported areas, given Rivian's connections to Colorado.
So, you're saying there's a chance?... :)
I've actually got one LE and one NON-LE configured... time will tell which one shows up first.
Yeah. I guess that's the best info we're going to get for the time being. As an extension of the same question - I wonder if there will be Max Packs built before all of the LEs are delivered.
I saved it. Here it is:
Directed Share Program Terms and Conditions
I agree that, as security for the payment of any amounts owed to Morgan Stanley or its affiliates by me under this Directed Share Program or otherwise, I grant to Morgan Stanley a first priority continuing security interest...
I just want to clarify something regarding the LE orders.
It seems that it is the general opinion of the forum that the LE orders were capped to a specific amount (maybe 10k, 20k ???) and yet there are many other orders that have been put in. I will assume that a large portion (maybe more than...
I agree that this series shows the full 300mi potential, but I'm still worried about range in different conditions (e.g. Trailer, cold weather, both). Still no real road tests on that yet.
Yeah, bummer. They said the weight of the vehicle was a challenge in the dunes. Although the horsepower and torque could help them through, they had to maintain speed to stay up. But, "couldn't find the line" between too fast and sinking. But hey, a stage win and 5th overall is pretty amazing...
CONGRATS to our heroes - Team 140 - Killer Watt - with a 1st place finish (by the slimmest of margins) for Day 6!
putting them in a solid 3rd place overall:
Here's the final installment of the Motor Trend series where they crossed the Trans America Trail:
and here are the others (in reverse order) if you haven't seen them. I suppose I'm partial to "Leg 4" since they passed through Colorado:
Leg 4:
Leg 3:
Leg 2:
Leg 1:
looks like Team 140 had a good day today and ended the day in a respectable 5th place overall. Seems like the mechanical issue was fixed and didn't affect them.
Even though they had a setback yesterday, looks like they're still hanging in the top 5. Staying in contention! They are on track to contend for the day 3 total in their group.
Emme and Rebecca are back at it! Here's the video from the tech inspection where they did a very brief overview of the team and truck starting at 52:20. Looks like they're driving a Compass Yellow! Good luck to team 140!
