We're moving manufacturing to India now... And software had been there for a while.
This conversation will repeat in about ten years...
And China definitely invested/subsidized a crapton of money in EVs 10 years ago as well as cellular because they identified them as important technologies for...
Glad you have camera footage and no one was hurt.
Surprised that snapped the axle..it didn't look like that much damage from the photo.
It does look repairable from the photo but check with a Rivian certified body shop (their website has a list)... No need to let Rivian service look at it.
But more info here:

Interesting that the ICE engine directly powers the motors instead of charging the battery when it's kicked in...
If you do this, could you also include how far out each one sticks out from the body for protection?
Megawatts definitely look the sturdiest and best built FWIW. Also only one with a rear kick out.
If they license Huawei's system maybe
Nvidia is also trying to build a bundle of software and hardware but I don't think their system is as good as Tesla's... And no demos.
I've watched Tesla FSD 13.x demos...it still scares me but the Huawei system looked much more stable...
Chelsea is incorrect.
You can go to the Rivian site and schedule a demo.
I think they have a Tri now. I demo'd a dual when the Boston space first opened...

He did the same in an interview last year despite multiple attempts from the interviewer who obviously wanted him to bash Musk...
Someone in one of the threads said pick up a trailer light wiring harness and connect it and it'll reset conserve mode after it detects it.
But the latest update supposedly fixed this...sounds like yours is stuck ?
They've been trying to get app devs to support any size window for a while so any modern app should work fine. I suspect they'll have a curated vetted set initially but in theory most should work fine.
Would be curious what hooks Rivian provides or whether that's just part of the Android Auto...

Interesting that the motors overheated offroading up a steep incline ?
Sounds like people should get the quad if it's only $10k more...
I think they're targeting airstreams which are in the 100-200 range?
The other EV towable RV is the lightship (sp?) and it's in the 200s.
The Pebble docking setup is cool... I'd get one if I were in the airstream market and could afford it ?
