This is the link, but looks like they are unavailable now…search the forum, there are several vendors selling. The going rate seems to be about $200 for a set, which is about what I paid…

Just picked up my R1T from the local tire shop, getting a rotation at 6,000 miles (4 wheel only, did not rotate in the spare). I took in my set of lift pucks (bought last fall from 1EV, via Amazon). The shop said as long as I had pucks, no worries, they did cars with pucks frequently.
Per the...
Agreed, this is promising, watching the thread…my wife hated the hard cover on the back of my Silverado (that I traded in when I got my R1T), and with something like this on the Rivian, it only blocks the view when you need it….she never learned to drive with mirrors (or cameras)…gotta look over...
I had two rock strikes this year on I95, NC to DC, on my 2020 Bolt, one patched and the second one a replacement.
I cringe when I drive the R1T on that route ?

NC law currently prohibits Rivian from opening a SC. That’s why Richmond supports us. The dealership protection regulations had a specific carve-out to allow Tesla to build a SC for Raleigh. The lack of this support is a big part of the reason Rivian went to GA for the second factory. The...
I use conserve mode any time I’m on the highway, and while I don’t stay behind the cement truck, I do spend more time out of the left lane than in it. I don’t “punch” in conserve, but I’ve always found it has plenty of speed to pass on a 4 lane or even 2 lane highway. I use all purpose around...
Maybe it’s the driving style? I’ve had 2 Bolts, a 2017 and a 2020, put about 30,000 miles on the 2017 before I traded it, no tire issues, and then about 25,000 on the 2020, no tire wear issues..
Is this only for the Rivian charger, and not for the vehicle settings? My app tells me it’s updated, but I sure don’t see how to manage charging…
I see the new Gear Guard control…

According to PlugShare there is 62.5 kW charger in downtown Wilmington I’ve never used it.. the other DCFC are at car dealers except for the one at Mad Boar on I40. I live in Emerald Isle, but have not used any of the ENC DCFC. From my house I can get to the interstate charger networks. I went...
Great report. I drive my R1T from Emerald Isle NC to the western DC suburbs (Centreville) about once per month, to see the grandkids (and we sometimes drive the Bolt). Along I95 we’ve used the Rocky Mount NC EA station, Emporia VA EA station (with the Bolt), and the Richmond VA EA station. I’ve...
My wife (5’4”) usually kills the app on her iPhone unless she wants to drive. If it does recognize her, I (6’5”) just reach in and select my profile on the center display.
But this summer, there was the “Watermelon Incident”
we took the granddaughter to a local watermelon farm run by a friend...
I’m a retired computer scientist, not an electrical engineer ? but I routinely see my Bolt with 7 kW AC charge limit regenning 40-50 kW coming up to a stop, and the only time regen is limited is a full battery. I’ve not noticed this issue on the Rivian after the initial wait for a full battery...
Andrew, it takes me the way I’d go, except for the last bit where it goes on US70/17, I’d take the hypotenuse and go on Business 17. From where I am, I’d only go on 70 between MHC and New Bern if I was going to Havelock.
No worries on the delay! I’ve not driven on 70 with my Rivian so I can’t speak to the Nav issue. I live in Emerald Isle, and the family farm is in Pitt County, so OM usually going “over the river and thru the woods” to see folks there. Otherwise, I’m headed up 58/258 to I95 to head to NOVA to...
