The current version of the Owner's Guide still has ~ 30 PSI as a recommendation when Off-roading. 31 PSI to be exact for the 20's and 21's.
34 PSI for the 22's when offroading is minimum recommended by Rivian
I've only heard or read of someone going into the low 20's PSI with the OEM 20's and...
Dang it!! now I need to decide If I should wait for the triple square pattern ones. Choices!!
So the slot ones are ready to be shipped. Meaning a purchase means it's shipped right away?
What about suspension? Is that the same setup in DM vs QM?
In my QM, I've found that going to Stiff is better than staying in Soft. This could be common sense to someone experienced but in my newbieness I started in soft and when swithced to stiff it made a big difference in ride quality...
AAA.
Had Geico a few years ago but when I got the R1S they wanted a huge increase.
I shopped around with at least 5 different carriers and moved away from Geico and ended up with Mercury.
This year at renewal Mercury wanted so much more so I had to shop around again and got ~5 quotes. Had...
Nice!
what is your goal for this? Bring it to market and sell?
I think a plate makes a lot more sense as you can attach whatever you want as you mention.
Any issues with blocking some cameras/sensors?
RJ mentioned it was purely a cost saving measure to reduce the amount of High Voltage wiring required in this platform. I think it's in the Electrek Interview.
No worries, share if you get one for sliders.
I only know of 3 vendors making sliders and they all are very supply constrained with some having wait times of a couple of months.
For me the Widget shows in either % or Miles but not the Lock screen.
The Lock Screen shows in Miles only. Even when I have the Widget @ %
I have to expand the Lock Screen Notification and then it shows the full graphic with Miles and %
I rather have the Lock Screen show in % as well.
On...
I think equal to the OEM's is good enough for me. Those Gen Grabber ATX look cooler to me though.
I hardly ever drive thru the Sierra passes where I guess these Snow Tires would help.
But I try to Offroad a bit more and sometimes in snow so will have to think about which feature is more...
Serious Question. Do you Mind sharing your reasoning? just personal preference/looks?
I mean what does loosing 1" in this context (All Terrains) I figured if the tire is better at AT performance and you could take a better line to compensate with the 1" loss.
I think most people are talking about the speaker being overkill for what it is.
Look at what Toyota did with the 2024 Taco. They just included what appears to be a dash dock able off the shelf Yamaha JBL Flex BT speaker. I guess Rivian could have done something similar and save/redirect...
Thank you for sharing this OP.
I am mostly on AP with an Offroad trip every 2 months or so.
so If I want to try something different when the Pirellis AT bite the dust and want to go with the Gen. Grabber A/TX (116T) SNOW I would only lose .05 per kwh efficiency or MPK? That does not sound...
Will install this later on when I get home. But in the meantime let me ask:
Is the non screen lock widget still the same size? On my Samsung Galaxy S21 it does not fully fill the 4x2 space. It seems like there is a ton of unused space.
Yep, I have not ordered because of the estimated time. It's currently showing 14 weeks on the R1S page.
Where did you see 19+ weeks? or you mean you are at 19+ weeks since you put the order?
