... and most neutral wires are actually grounded so, if the wiring was up to code, you can still wire it in a way that a 14-50 will work properly for an EVSE, maybe not for a drier ;)
(I wired both my Tesla Wall Connector and Rivian Wall Charger, plus a 14-50R at home myself)
It's an NMC chemistry long range.
Also LFP has the same issues as NMC when charged at 100% ,it just that the BMS needs to the battery to be cahrged to 100% often to maintain proper calibration. ?
Check Engineering Explained video on that subject. Its perfect.
Every now and then, going 0 to a 100 is good for proper BMS calibration. Otherwise of course you'll have longer lifespan the way you use it. I'm anal but práctica myself. If the difference between not going 100%.and going (let's say) once a year would be that I would brick my battery in three...
Charge to 100% one night for proper calibration and use the truck normally. It won't hurt to charge to 100% every once in a while.
Even if you do that daily, still it'll take years to degrade to a noticeable point. I wouldn't recommend doing that but it's not the end of the world.
My wife...
Yup, my guess would have been the same as yours. Weird it bricked itself out. I would probably try disconnecting ALL power (12V and HV) to the truck, and then reconnect it back to see if that resuscitates it. If something is fried, this won't work, but if it was a safety shutoff, I'm sure it...
Fun fact: I was born and raised in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. My parents and sister still live down there :) I'm pumped to watch this documentary now!
Track pads... I hear you. I use Carbotech in my Ford Focus RS (450whp). They last me about ~4500 miles and ate a rotor in the same period. Amazing brake power!.
BUT.... We are talking about a truck here :) Noise, dust are treated differently and also high-heat tolerances aren't that much of a...
Not sure how Gen2 looks like (I have a dual 12v Gen1 setup), but did you measure with a multi-meter that you could get battery voltage between those two points?
What's the post right below the one you marked in your picture? Looks like the one you marked might be a sensor/fuse or something like...
How does the friction brakes feel now?
I've been thinking of replacing the pads for a grippier set as I'm spoiled with my (very noisy) Carbotech pads I have in my 'fun' car...
I was there last weekend and took a few pictures for Jose's website :

Came back home with a hoodie and a couple of t-shirts ?
I can take new numbers, but I don't have braking numbers from before the tire swap. Once It stops raining around here, I'll find a safe place to test the breaking efficiency with the Racebox
Day (overcast) and night pictures of my LA Silver Stealth PPF (and gloss black mirrors) that was finished just yesterday. I'm in love with the new fresh look :)
While true on the ratings, I find the wet traction a bit better than the Scorpions in my personal experience (just switched to them last month after 15.000mi on the Pirellis). This might very well be due to worn Pirellis, the actual test should be new vs new.
In Dry, traction is worse, yes. How...
Well... f-it... I'm donating to the cause knowing that it's impossible (the universe told me that already) I win anything :)
Short story, I grew up in a remote part of Argentina (the southernmost city in the world) and every year there was a Cross-country ski race in that I always took part (I...
They will give away ~250k total. So yeah, this is a great way for them to collect up to 1M USD.
For us, it's tempting, it's like donating $250 to a cause with the chance of earning a prize. I never liked these types of raffles but that's mainly because I've never NEVER ever won anything in my...
