2.36 mi/kwh lifetime with 22ā wheels, R1S quad motor, rarely use conserve, maybe 500 miles at most. About 5,500 total miles from May 2023 to now, in the Midwest, no long road trips yet.
Some incorrect data above.
Large pack driven: 308.3 miles
Large pack max range with using buffer: 317.2 miles
Max pack driven: 334.5 miles
Max pack max range with using buffer: 339.5 miles
So the theoretical difference is 22.3 miles.
Here it is. Max pack definitely not worth the cost.

Itās probably fine but youāre supposed to reference the forms that changed. As an example āThe return is being amended to include form 8936 and a $7,500 tax credit on form 1040 schedule 3 for a vehicle placed in service 8/15/22.ā
Make sure line 3 uses 8/15/22 as the date in service.
Mobile service brought mine today. I called last week and already had a separate mobile service appointment for today. The price with tax and install was $505 since they honored the prior pricing.
Mine is off too, and that is my expectation that preconditioning, gear guard, etc. add to the total energy number but donāt impact the miles per kWh.
And anyone who thinks Rivian didnāt ācook the booksā the best they could to get to 400 miles has drank way too much kool aid.
Whatever they use to calculate it is way off on the last 15 min screen, especially for shorter drives. Itās not a true efficiency average and I donāt know exactly how itās calculated. Iāve tested this many times (my drive to and from work is exactly 15 min) and it can be magnitudes off from...
Cupholders for the rear would be nice.
A revised lower console organizer with this design where the cupholders are in the back would be nice. This one fits large bottles well but doesnāt work with smaller one since there are not any clips.

Arenāt these the new turbo inline 6? Edit-looks like the 6.4 v8 is standard, which Iām sure sounds amazing.
I got an Audi q7 with the turbo v6. The engine is good, but really unimpressed with everything else for a $75k vehicle. Iād take my wifeās telluride over it.
I believe the Generals are the tires that come on the f150 lightning so should be decent.
Iād lean towards the Continental if you can wait until they are back in stock. They are highly rated, and should last a little longer...
1. Electric and all that comes with it, performance, charging at home, instant power, reliability, etc.
2. Styling outside and inside
3. Space for 3 (soon to be 4) kids and all of our things
4. Value with old pricing, thereās nothing that compares
I recently switched to stiff in all purpose mode for everyday with the R1S and the bouncing is gone. Ride is a bit harsher and the 22ā wheels donāt help but overall feels fine and the handling has improved. Something in between soft and stiff would be good.
If you like cars and can afford it and itās not a stretch financially, go for it. Thereās not a financial justification to spend $60k (assuming qx60 is worth $20k - $25k) the only justification is that you want it, which is fine. We had the exact same cars as you earlier this year. We hated our...
