I’m curious to see how the RAN map might evolve as service centers open.
Boise has a service center now and McCall is likely the number one “adventure destination” from there. Ketchum/Sun Valley and Stanley are likely number two and three. Ketchum was on the original map.
The upcoming McCall...

An interesting part of the earnings call was Rivian repeatedly mentioning other fleets would need a pilot period to determine the infrastructure needs and uncover other unknowns.
They did mention a list of interested parties and that they’d be announcing deals s00n, but we won’t see the large...
This part of the call was pretty confusing.
They implied lower priced trims, but were also referring to the Max Pack as a trim, then at times it implied lower priced interior treatments/packages a la Explore.
Then they started talking about trims that would raise the average sales price.
So...
Kanab, Utah just won this quarter’s Supercharger voting. Will be nice to have a Rivian accessible charger much faster than the current Chargepoint option.
Not what you’re looking for, but there is a second set of Waypoints in Tremonton that Rivian removed from the map.
They are at the Aspen Grove RV park at two of their RV sites. You can call the park to reserve them and charge overnight at your site without unhooking your trailer. The park also...
I’m a very amateur permit sleuth, but I’ve found Utah to be one of the hardest states to search in from a permit perspective. My guess is they are out there and coming sooner than later.
The two RAN locations found to date by @TeamEV were the Zion one from a Rivian presentation and The Creamery...
I think the bummer here is some folks configured standard dual and all Rivian had said to date was there was a horsepower drop from the performance. There was no hint you’d be left out of software features besides Sport drive mode.
Airstream has been raising prices every year, so if you went to sell your trailer in a few years, selling for a bit less than you paid still looks like a deal compared to someone shopping new.
It’s not a purchase that ever pencils out. You can try to rationalize it and compare to hotel costs...
With the restock after end of quarter, I see ~15 Dual Motors with the Black Mountain interior without the wood dash (and 2 Quad Motors). Interesting they are trying to make these again.
A bunch of new "coming soon" locations just got added to the map on Rivian.com
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Baton Rouge, Lousiana
Shoshone, California
Moosic, Pennsylvania
Newburgh, New York
Holyoke, Massachusetts
Lebanon, New Hampshire
Columbia, Missouri
