I’ll do it when I go back home today. That’s 30 miles and avg speed should be around 60-65 due to traffic. This morning coming I did around 2.6, but going back usually is less.
I was going to go with the HTS60, but the Discount Tire rep urged me to go with the ATs. The Nitto Grappler and the Recon Grappler AT are different tires. One is an LT and the other is a 116 load rated tire. My understanding is that the regular Grappler LT are slightly worse efficiency than the OEs.

I’ve run 25k miles on my R1T beginning with my Pirelli OEM AT 20”. Those lasted about 17k miles before the noise was unbearable. I’ve tried several tires since then and found the holy grail of looks...
The game is to reduce loss per vehicle. And that’s a volume game, not a margin game right now. Get it to a place where you lose enough per car to focus on the margin to take it to the last mile. I would make the r2 exactly the same as the r1, but shorter and cheaper materials, and lower options...
Installed over the weekend. First 80 miles more efficient than stick AT tires. There is a back story here. I originally installed defender ltx ms2 because I wanted a more plush ride. My efficiency went up from 1.85 to 2.5 then normalized down to 2.02 over 400 miles. I used the 30 day replacement...
Yes. It matches. What's more, I used to use 12-14% of my battery for the commute. Yesterday was 10% and today was 9%. I'll keep logging. Attaching a pic of this months usage before the tire change, I was averaging 1.85, but that's because I towed about 100 miles, which lowered my average. I'm...
I was expecting more than 20% based on Kyle’s test of 21 vs 20, I think they said the difference between the 20 at and 21 was around 20%. I don’t know why i didn’t do this before.
That’s correct. That’s what I was expecting and now maybe I can tow for more than 130 miles. If I get half, that’s 1.3 vs the 1 that I used to get. The efficiency should be greater towing.
the 30 mile commute was fluctuating between 2.5 to 2.7. Before the tires I was at 2 and with best case scenario 2.1. But it’s 32 degrees outside now and the 2.0 it was 80-90.
Got the MS2 installed over the weekend on 20” factory wheels. Size is 275/60. If you have the off-road tires, this will make you R1T feel like a Bentley - plush! My roundtrip to work is about 60 miles, 50 of it at highway speeds. My off-road tires used to get me 2 miles per kw on this route...
