Basically more masculine R1s. Like the overall shape but I'm an old Scout /Bronco guy. Wait to see if near the advances like R1s have or will make more economical choices.
I‘ve had my trigger 4 plus for over a year and no issues. I simply keep mine controller under the armrest lip and then can keep by my hand when on backroads. Has worked great actually like that setup better than my Bronco with integrated controls.
I followed the directions in installing on...
I live in the midwest (Kansas). So assume East coast is much better but could be wrong. Our level 3s are about 150 to 175 miles apart on most highways, but perfect for most 80% charges. You have to plan but I've always been a planner so likely explains why easy conversion for me.
It's the audience. When I posted my headers for my LS3 in the back of my R1T I got a lot of frowns lol.
I have a love for both, but as my other post notes it has to be a really special ICE vehicle for me now. Your Jeep qualifies similar to my Bronco.
Jump in on EV, you'll never go back. I agree towing is only negative and GM takes care of that. Trips are actually improved, at least for those of us over 35. Spending 25 min to relax, get food, go to bathroom, and then take a 10 minute walk. Arrive at a destination and actually feel awake...
Please ensure to include both of mine in your studies. With over 2 years and 25k miles with only 1 service visit (R1S washer spray line pinched) that fix was completed in my garage.
Sorry to hear your experience has been much worse than mine.
One of the best features of evs. After 1 day you'll never want to go back to old school brakes. My wife did take 2 days to warm to it and now loves it as well.
Rivian settings for regen are the best to me over 4 brands I've driven. Own 3 brands.
I would chime in from a ride comfort perspective but no time in a Gen 2 vehicle. I have all 3 wheel and tire combinations on Gen1 R1S and R1T. The R1T on Gen 1 the best riding truck I've ever been in, but of course won't compare against a lux cruiser.
The 20 AT are very good but they do have...
I have one. Greatly improved for highway driving and finally acceptable for that purpose. You better still better be paying attention as phantom brakes on interstate and will swerve from time to time for no reason, but yes 10x better than G1 R1'S. Summer bugs blocked 2 of cameras and FSD...
