  1. WSJ: After Layoffs, Tesla’s Supercharger Expansion Slows

You missed the rest of my post. They are slower than what they told Ford, as Ford passed that info to customers and took a large pr hit from their early ev adopters. GM fully expected to have access and adapters by now as well.
  2. WSJ: After Layoffs, Tesla’s Supercharger Expansion Slows

Ford did send out “estimated” dates originally once able to first reserve their adapters in Feb. They missed by several months except for the earliest of reservations which I was lucky to be in on. My opinion as non of us know the truth but do believe they have intentionally slowed the...
  3. R3 Rivian review by Sandy Munro: Good Things Come in Small Packages

One of the memories that will never leave my brain. As a 3rd grader waiting to be picked up after school. An exceptionally large dad got in his omni and it looked like it might tip over. Pretty sure exceeded max gross weight of 300lbs from those vehicles.
  4. Rivian R2 Competitor: Lucid Earth

Agree, different markets but hope they make it. The efficiency of the Air has me thinking I'll pick up a 25 model cheap in 2 years. Also waiting to ensure they make it.
  5. Tri-Motor Max Pack R1S available in R1 Shop

I love my Rivians but would never pay that much, especially for “only” a Tri. I’m sure they are great but over $95K seems like a slow seller to me.
  6. Charging stations across the country

Not sure why you are having issues on non Francis units. The ones in Oklahoma almost stranded me as the older units they have don't play nice with Rivian. All other brands charge per the known Rivian curve for my 2 vehicles. Usually 200 for a while and then slowly decrease. My average when...
  7. Sad R1S rental story

Yes, hate meeting rental cars at chargers. Simply not there yet with charger technology. Always ends in frustration for renter. Evs are amazing but have a learning curve currently that on a vacation / work trip is not worth the hassle.
  8. Disappointing Driver Display

No, less is more, great how it is. That’s what the main screen is for.
  9. Gen 2 interior camera for driver monitoring?

Gen 1 had a camera through early 2023 builds. My 2022 R1T has it, my late 2023 R1S doesn’t and it made me sad. Very clearly announced before Gen2 that Gen 1 would never have hands free to be on par with my 21 Mach e :(
  10. 21 inch wheels discontinued - why?

1 additional complexity not needed for business. New 21 tire available on market and tpn of takeoffs for sale so you should be golden. Pretty sure 22s are all season?
  11. Gen1 R1S Loaner vs My Early Build R1T

Sorry to hear about the T, hope they get all of those issues resolved. Mine is 15k vin and has no supension noises. I have a late build 23 S and the suspension is much worse than the T. The updates have made it ride much better but nowhere as good as the T. Also, the Meridian in my T is...
  12. Gen 2 in the Shop - Loaner Gen 1 (Things I am Noticing)

What is the front foot overlap, never heard of that one?
  13. Insurance quotes are high in California

    Damn good deal. What company?
  14. Gen 2 in the Shop - Loaner Gen 1 (Things I am Noticing)

I disagree. 2022 has all of the outlets and better speakers before cost cutting came in. I wish I had found a 2022 R1S to match my 2022 R1T. Got too good of a deal on the 2023 R1S with 200 miles on it . Miss the front 12v and speaker difference is night and day for me. No issues with my...
  15. (Buyer Beware) Don't Buy Your Rivian (Massive Day 1 Depreciation) - You're better off Leasing If You Can

I didn’t read the entire thread but if truly in multiple times in 4 months check with a lawyer on lemon law, plan to keep it for 10 years (only way new cars make sense imo), take a bath on it and move on, or start a YouTube channel and jump a river when injured go after Rivian for their inferior...
