I've had multiple good interactions with the Discount Tire at 18643 NE Eider Ct in Hillsboro, Oregon.
On two occasions, management staff reviewing post-service feedback called me to follow up on my reviews. I still watch them when they're working on the truck, but that would be the case for...
I apologize for the delay, but I just stumbled upon this.
What you're looking at is the TurboTax view of the "form," which isn't the true form that is submitted.
On my hardcopy Form 8936 as I printed it from Turbotax, the "placed in service date" is in Part I, Line 3; there is no "Date...
Same boat. At 23,000 miles, have recently lost two 20" Pirellis that can't be repaired (one was my spare that had only 500 miles on it). Until that second loss, was leaning toward the Toyo SL version, but I'm in camp LT now, and deciding between the Toyo and the Nokian.
FWIW (which prolly ain't much), I'm on 2025.10.01 and just came back from a 1,300-mile trip with no such issues. (R1T Gen 1, August 2023 build) Not that that helps anyone.
My (Gen 1) latch(es?) failed Jan. 9, then mysteriously started working again Jan. 23. Portland SC told me to keep my Jan. 30 appointment and they'd replace both latches with what they asserted were redesigned versions. They further asserted they hadn't seen any vehicles with the new latches...
I won't be of any help, but am curious...
Does the Rivian EVSE itself not allow for scheduling, or does Rivian EVSE scheduling operate through the vehicle?
I have just a single Chargepoint EVSE, which is set up with a schedule based on rates. If I had a second similar EVSE elsewhere, it, too...
I used a charger at the Community Center in July 2024; my Plugshare check-in shows a max rate of 157kw. At that time, it was an Enel X machine. Since then, Enel X got out of the business in North America, but another entity apparently has taken over the software side of things, so the machine...
I don't know the answer, but if you end up having to buy another, there are plenty of non-Rivian options (Tesla, ChargePoint, Autel, etc.) that are cheaper.
Item(s) to be exchanged:
NACS (Tesla® Supercharger & NACS 3RD PARTY DC CHARGERS) to CCS1 Adapter | 500A | 1000V | DC | 12 Months Warranty - NACS to CCS1 Adapter Only
Return Reason: Exchange Program (EP) - We will need a picture of the adapter with a written note stating your order number and...
As you seem to be in Oregon, I suggest trying Rivian to see if Cincinnati Insurance will cover you (when I signed up, it required moving home owner's there as well). My renewal is $1,006 per year. This is for $250,000/$500,000 coverage, $500 deductible, and full replacement cost for the first...
My suggestion:
If the vehicle otherwise seems to be fine and you do not want/need Rivian to rotate your tires now, wait until later for the formal check-up.
FWIW, Rivian replaced three items under warranty when I had my 8,000+ mile inspection. I'll also have them do the 15,000+ mile...
A very quick "I didn't read the fine print because I haven't had my coffee yet" search: https://www.intecracing.com/products/toyo-open-country-a-t-iii-ev-275-65r20-116h
In my experience, dust comes up through the bed and the tailgate gap; that's not the "fault" of the tonneau cover. I haven't run mine through a car wash, so I can't speak to that.
I've had no problem using the X Way app with Enel X DC chargers in Ashton and Driggs, Idaho. I'm more concerned about the (imminent?) closure of those stations.
