R1T Tri here, I seem to get between 1.8-2.5 in AP mode, and between 2.1-2.8 in Conserve. If you're looking to maximize range, Conserve is definitely the way to go.
I'm sure it's very much PR, but it's also Rivian listening to customers to gauge what to focus on and potentially expedite. They implemented better cold weather charging and thanked OOS for that very video in the release notes, and they also specifically implemented a reddit community request...
I had to valet the car last week. I took the fob. You never know if the kid parking your car knows the single unmarked spot to place the card that enables drive mode.
Interestingly, assigning keys to other profiles finally started working for me yesterday, out of the blue. This was before I got the 2025 update, so I have to see if it still works ;)
I recall reading somewhere that the Gen2 compute module was designed specifically to allow for drop-in replacement if a new board was needed. Honestly, Rivian "copies" Tesla enough where I wouldn't be surprised if this was a design criteria for the autonomy module.
If you have mirrors that fold in when parked, then they are cycling every single time you get in and out of the car already (so at least 4x per trip). I wouldn't worry about it.
Same here. It has NEVER worked for me and I just assumed it was a sloppy integration. Similarly, if I tell Alexa to "navigate home," it responds that it doesn't know where home is and I need to set it (how)?
I was actually surprised when people here said that it was supposed to work.
I got 2-3 of them. No idea if it impacts Rivians. But the Chromecast Ultras I have at home are still working right now.

Congrats!
1. Sooo...color? This is the most yellow/green tint I've seen, most of the press shots and even Rivian Spaces pics have really made it look white. Is the hue distinctive, and what you expected?
2. Is the interior closer to Ascend or Adventure trim, or a blend?
3. What do you think...
I'm just glad that he acknowledged that his last video overly fixated on one very specific spec that happened to be important to him (low SOC DCFC rate) and that unfairly colored the view of the entire vehicle. When he said the 10-15% fast charge rate was "the single most important spec for an...
It's really compelling as a "small cargo carrier." I'd much rather have this than a mini cooper (which is exactly the same length).
But as to how modular it is, I think it's more of a "gen2" purchase for me, no idea how leaks, wind noise, rattles and all the weirdness that could come with...
One of the sources I recalled was from an earnings call with RJ and Wassim, but on looking it up, it was back in Q2 2023, a year before Gen2 was announced:

So who even knows what/when they were talking about. I...
I thought Rivian did confirm that Gen2 currently uses MobileEye, but also has their own Vision/Compute suite built in as well, which isn't activated yet but will be "when they reach parity"? Maybe it was in one of the Gen2 launch interviews from last year.
But great job demonstrating exactly...
I ordered the full coverage kit, and just got around to the 3 "test" panels that TWRAPS includes to let you practice and decide whether you're up for the DIY. I was using the wrong squeegee and getting water bubbles underneath, and they were super-responsive over email in helping out. I...
Same, Ocean Coast + Driftwood here, and even with the pure white accent panels, I still think it is way, way too dim. I cannot imagine how ineffective the lighting is on the darker decors.
Importantly, it might also influence OTHERS to treat your car with more respect. If I park next to a beat up clunker, I might not be as careful with my door as I would be with something shiny and well cared for (or maybe not, but it can't hurt).
I only bought one set, which has chains for two wheels. For the test I installed only on the rear passenger wheel. Rivian says not to put chains on the front, so when I go to the snow, I'll plan on only installing on the rears tires only.
