I too have owned quite a few pickups and used them for everything from farm work, to home work, to construction support. This one sucks for all of those things. It's a great "adventure toy", but when you try to get some stuff done, it fights you at ever step.
I agree. This is absolutely NOT the...
Virtual vent control, PaaK, and no interior door handles feel like they should be on this list to, but that's for another thread.
Glad I'm not as crazy as everyone seems to think I am. Cheers!
I get that.....Just didn't realize you would have to deter theft from something that size/shape/location. Just feels like those features make it a "self deterrent" style object.
To be clear, I'm not judging, I'm just curious.
Is RTT theft really a thing? I feel like that's some pretty dedicated thieves to steal something that weighs hundred of pounds, that is bolted in place to a vehicle, AND that likely isn't that easy to "move" or resell. I don't have one, but I can't imagine they're a high priority target for thieves.
Stake pockets are handholds. And they are quite literally called "Step Bumpers". Shits been around longer than most of us arguing about here have been alive.
Here's another great example of a pickup truck designed by software engineers.
Trying to move a washer/dryer tonight. They don't fit. The tailgate won't shut, not because the bed isn't long enough, but because it has an over complicated hinge system that requires an additional flap to cover the...
I both agree and disagree. I do think we're spoiled with the EV drivelines, and I think they do a great job, I also think that the non-performance dual motor isn't anything to write home about in terms of performance.
The standard DM is plenty adequate, and significantly faster than most...
No discount for upgrading later, though. $5k at time of vehicle purchase, or $5k through the app later. The price is the price it appears.
Not sure we've seen enough go through the used market to have any bearing on it it actually changing the residual value at much of any level. So, be...
I've already got a set of plans to build a cheap chock to wedge in the front to keep teh front tire from slipping side to side. I doubt it does much while hauling, but it will definitely help while strapping down.
I've always used standard ratchet straps, and done the "over the hook loop...
Resurrecting an older thread here. Apologies to all for that, but didn't want to start a new one. You know, using the search feature and all.
Bought a Ducati Monster from a friend. Bringing it home over Easter break. Think I've got all my ducks in a row, but am curious about strapping the bike...
I have a non-performance Dual Motor.
The locked rear drive unit is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in traffic. The constant lock/unlock was annoying at best before. Only slight quibble is that I can't choose "soft" as a suspension setting. The concrete interstates up here Buffalo make for a jarring ride...
