Given how the integration is set up, they are mostly just pulling down any known pieces of data. There isn't a lot of sophistication on these sensors at this time, so they aren't showing whether there is or isn't a feature.
You'll also notice things like "Heated Seat 3rd Row Left" and "…Right"...
I was checking the API docs, and it appears that yes, this is a private token provided for each user. It's probably not that big of a deal, but assuming they generate a unique one for each user, you probably shouldn't share it. I just sent in a request for my own API key.
Something's wrong with Gear Guard off at home for me, I think it happened in the last update. It seems like every other update, the truck stops seeing "home" as my actual garage.
Half the time, the navigation automatically stops when I turn in my driveway, half the time it wants me to drive...
They said you could swap them left-to-right, but that doesn't change the pattern if you have to "spin" them around the trucks Z-axis. To flip the pattern, you have to flip them so the bottom becomes the top.
I'm not sure if there's a difference between the top and bottom of the plate. If there...
Looking great!
Looking at this picture, the squares appear to not be a symmetric design (meaning left-to-right on the vehicle). Is the slot design symmetric? Because that may decide it for me if that's the case. I would be annoyed if the pattern swept forward on one side and backward on the...
Yeah, I'm more worried about if I decide I don't want the running boards or I replace the truck down the road, the panels will now have holes cut in them. It might not look too bad from above, though.
Roughly jow much are they? Because I'm going to be a lot more concerned about cutting those up to get the running boards I preordered to fit if replacing them is that expensive.
Tesla still doesn't offer an official API. Just like Rivian, it has to be reverse engineered, and they can (technically, if not practically) pull the rug out at any time (which they've actually done fairly recently in a way that broke the HomeAssistant setup—it's now only supported via 3rd-party...
I just saw that comment this morning, I'm going to do the same thing in a bit alongside the updated integration! I love the community efforts around this integration.
@mindstormsguy Did you get locked out of your account, too? I updated to the latest HA integration after the servers broke, but then it locked me out of my account, so I turned off the integration for now. I don't know if it's a constant thing, or if it only happens on startup or something...
They barely talk about the vehicles at all. I think there was "It's very easy to drive" and maybe something about their capabilities.
It's really a discussion with RJ, which is nice, since at this point there's a lot of videos about the vehicles. I think it'll be a good conversion video for...
Never had issues on our trip up to Michigan and back, with temperatures from 30ÂŞF and colder (I don't remember exactly). The truck has had a lot of cold weather testing, too, so I'd assume something is wrong with the truck (or the finger).
Yeah, I'm going to be struggling with what to do. My original plan was to swap my Launch Edition R1T for a Max Pack Adventure R1T sometime in 2024, but I don't really think that makes sense at this point.
We'll still be going through with our R1S order, of course, but I don't need a 3rd Rivian...
