@Budman excellent report! We did a similar trip to Sedona last week and it was beautiful! Curious how you were able to extract elevation vs distance data from plugshare maps?
I guess they didn't do it sooner, as they probably had enough demand from post March 2022 orders. Now that demand has slowed down due to high interest rates etc, makes sense to open this up and clear inventory. Also helps clear the pre March order book and streamline orders going forward.
Happens to me nearly all the time. My brain has just gotten trained to it by now, and automatically becomes more cautious. If they fix it, my brain will take a while to retrain ?.

Couldn't agree more that R2 needs to be here yesterday! I'm just restating what Rivian themselves has officially stated multiple times, which also seems to be confirmed in this latest "leak". Dates like this tend to slip out, not pulled in.
Those rear accessory ports and tool-less bike mounts sound intriguing. Curious if that system would be exclusive to R2, or somehow be added to future R1. Excited to see these specs for sure. The only bad part about these specs is "Coming 2026". Hopefully they don't have to pull another "March...
