Ah our messages crossed.
Yes exactly what I expected. The system changed the capacity rating back up higher after a while and it resulted in your drop in SoC. We will need more longer term stats like that to understand the behavior better.
Can you put the battery capacity stats next to your SoC chart? I bet it’s doing something weird with the capacity rating of the vehicle. It has gotten very noisy on mine as well.
Pulled the latest data. Parked the truck on Jan 31st with exactly 69% SoC. Went as high as 69.7% within the following 24h before leveling off and starting to decline. At the same time you can see how the battery capacity rating dropped by 2kWh or more in the first 24h of parking.
With .51...
Yes that if definitely the new behavior. Just doing a 4 day test (had to jump on an international trip) and the first 48h of standing time now is basically feel-good numbers.
During that time (and possibly longer) the SoC numbers by themselves are no longer an indicator for the amount of energy...
Agree on Shipping Mode and possibly putting it into Conserve (although not sure this really matters that much)
Had a Gen1 R1T Quad parked from Dec 4th until January 14th and the Soc went from 84% down to 50%. If you start at 85% 2 months is not a big deal.
The latest 51 firmware is making the...
Have been using kneel mode a lot for the first year, but eventually got tired of the waiting and explaining it to friends a family. If I know I have somebody on board that is a bit hight challenged I manually put it in low. Otherwise I leave it at auto.
Was also wondering if the constant...
Do check the weight specs though. 225 is the limit on the Yakima. 20 lbs more than the Kuat 4 bike setup. Not a problem with normal bikes, but e-bikes might be too heavy for that. Also check the handlebar clearance. Might have to loosen the bars and twist them in order to stack the bikes so closely.
Nope and I guess it would quickly become a physics challenge. Increased length and extra weight would prohibit much of that. Even on this 2+2 setup the 2 extra bikes are already derated to 40 lbs each.
This particular setup is not stackable as the bolts can only go into the base unit.
Have been using this on for a while now for 2 Specialized Turbo bikes, but wanted a setup for 4 bikes. Kuat makes this extensible hitch rack for 2 bikes with an optional 2 bike extension that can easily be removed with 2 screws and a cable disconnect. Also wanted a setup with lights. Because of...
Picked this combo in part because of the official Rivian winter tire recommendation (does not need to be recalibrated as it matches the OEM Pirellis) and because of the various positive reviews on the forums here. Got an extra set of rims from Rivian as well as the matching tire pressure...
These I have had on the bed for a while. They normally hold several Packout Boxes, usually 2 deep just to fix within the space left by the flipout bed extender.
Here we go. Used shorter bolts on the bottom to further reduce the chance of rubbing against something. Used Blue loctite on all of them. The are stainless steel flange nuts - the extra surface area helps with the plastic.
According to the mobile service technician there are various setups they had over the years. First two then one on the driver side now one on the passenger side that no longer requires removal of the bumper to get to it. Don’t know what model or Gen1 to Gen2 differences.
yes definitely 400Hz:
And like for like replacement.
Good enough for what I need. Now that it has been fixed it’s plenty loud on the outside. Given how it is mounted it is a lot quieter from within the vehicle.
Yes on 20” and yes they fit on the rear - on high setting and slow speeds. They will not fit in the front and would rub badly.
Carry them mainly for exceptions where law requires them.
