I enjoy watching how they all interact. Most seem to have had a good time. (Minus the poor Transport Evolved presenter.. she did not fair well with the altitude.)
It does make me wonder, who got stuck in the truck with the Bloomberg reviewer... that must have been fun...
Bought it... wife disapproves. I told her this is my mid-life crisis. It's faster than a Porsche, but vastly more functional, and it can tow my other mid-life crisis around (dos boot).
Her only comment was, "So, I only have to deal with you until 84... good to know."
...not sure how to read...
How "bright" does that LED bar get on the front?
..or more specifically, as you turn the wheel, does the part of the bar that wraps around the front corner get substantially brighter?
I can't speak to everyone's experiences when buying a Tesla, but...
I placed my order for my X and it was pretty quiet for several weeks.
Once my account had a VIN assigned, things started kicking into a higher gear.
It was probably 2 weeks (it's been a few years, so I could be off a bit...
Real, it's recovered wood (from what, I do not know).
That said, the images seem to shift between a more "Green" vibe and a more "Gray-Green" tint.
...this isn't helping me chose between the Black and this...
Yeah, I watched it earlier as well.
They basically start insulting all of the other reviewers that were in attendance as not being reviewers but rather fanbois/influencers that are trying to cover topics they don't have a depth of knowledge in or are paid advertisers. And while I agree with...
I'm perfectly fine with employees that paid money for these vehicles to get them first.
As an employee, they may well have gotten first dibs at putting in a pre-order, it's not totally uncommon (though, I wish mine would do this sometimes), and is a great perk (on top of, what I assume, would...
My father in law has one of the "Rolls up into a canister" ones on his F-250, and hooooly hell that thing is a pain in the ass. It worked awesome for a few years, but has gotten steadily more obnoxious over time. I have a roll up one on my Ram (TruXedo Sentry CT) that is... manual, but, yeah...
Agreed. Most of that list sounds like software issues, but that Tonneau cover I think will be a problem. Things that "roll up" after getting dirty/dusty/sandy have a nasty tendency of gumming up and having issues.
Yup, that bugs me when they do it. "It's $68k! The Ford is only $40k!"
...yeah, well, the $40k version has hand crank windows...
Kind like when people say "Towing will reduce the range by 50%!" …yeah, it does that.. even on my diesel (actually, way worse than 50% when I'm at near max towing, I...
It felt like less of a review and more of an opinion piece.
Being critical and outlining flaws is fine (and again, literally part of her job), but... it came off as a hit piece full of opinions and self aggrandization.
Anyone try and power through that Electrek video?
Holy cow that was (I think) worse, than the 10 minutes of B-Roll video.
The Bloomberg review... I'm just not sure what the take away was there. It wasn't really a review, just.. kinda naval contemplation on the part of the writer. It didn't...
I really need to see Forest Edge in person. In the config it looks like a 1970's appliance had a drunken night with a sofa and gave birth to an off brand avocado green interior.
In the videos, it looks waaaaaaay softer sort of a green that would probably look nice in the El Cap Granite I'm...
