That impact isn’t light at all. Seeing it in the video and then the actual damage almost looks surreal. Lots of additional internal stuff possibly damaged beyond the visual steering components. My guess would also be totaled.

I live/drive a lot in NYC with city traffic rarely going over 25mph and most of the time being 15-20min. A few parkways at 45mph maybe. Over the first two weeks of ownership (only about 200 miles thus far) my efficiency is 2.37 miles/kwh. That is on DM Performance Max Pack with AT 20” tires...

In all honesty… is there any factual evidence of how significant this “faster degradation” would be? Ie how much range/capacity is one losing over the first 5 years of max pack versus large pack?

I firmly expected this experience to be bad when I picked up my R1T two weeks ago. However, my iPhone 14 Pro Max with Apple MagSafe case charges not only flawlessly but also rapidly in the car. The rubber case material seems to prevent shifting on the rubber mat well.
