So much bitterness… the problem exists with $120k and hell even $240k vehicles with LEDs too… case in point X7 M50i and 911 Turbos…
should have would have could have… I just wish auxiliary lights were easier to hook up on this beast.
So… if you get 5% increase out of all-seasons in same size… wouldn’t you get even a bit more from 275/60/20 all seasons? Let’s assume 10%… what I don’t get is that with the Rivian 21’ all-seasons and max pack, the truck is rated for 410 miles. How do 20 inch tires with similar EV-rated all...
Curious which sound system you had in your X7?! I have the Bowers Wilkins in my X7 and boy, it’s hard to beat that. To be fair, I professionally tuned it with the help of an audio engineer.
What does it mean to “take excellent care of battery”? I thought as an EV there isn’t really much to take care of with this vehicle. It’s not like it needs oil changes.
I honestly think what companies market vehicles as, what the media defines a vehicle as, what the consumer thinks a vehicle is and what the designer really has in mind are all getting real blurry these days. Describing the R1’s as adventure vehicles can hold as true in any of the above people’s...
But GPS isn't accurate to 12ft. It is accurate to 16ft for public use in the best case conditions (which driving at speed is not). The amount of situations where the GPS has you half-way in your lane by its own measures would render it useless for this.
My assumption is that it’s a combination of gps, camera and steering input data. But GPS alone I just find not so realistic given the accuracy of it is the more than the width of an entire lane.
It’s a bold assumption that Driver+ knows your location in the lane due to the GPS data though. Chances are very high there is several data points it considers to calculate your position on the road. GPS for sure is not accurate enough to determine this as it is artificially limited due to...
“Collins” doesn’t sound too German though… maybe ask a Duden.de or Pons.de. The translation here is of the verb “überholen” not the noun, despite what the link says. It’s not accurate.
The guy was towing on US I-40. On that particular stretch of asphalt it is a passing lane, not a fast lane.
Aside, I have to unfortunately tell you that the left lane of the German Autobahn, called the “Überholspur”, quite literally translates to “passing lane”. There is no fast lane on the...
*Correction - I think this is where you might be a bit biased.
- There is no “fast lane” in the US. It’s a “passing lane”. Meaningful difference. You pass, you move back over. “Fast” is also subjective.
- Going 80mph with a trailer is always less safe and more taxing than going 65mph with a...
