I have almost all of those issues in the exact same spots as OP.
I’ve been driving my R1T happily every day without a single complaint since delivery.
I did ask for some of them to be fixed (ie the gaps that seems to ultimately cause rain water related issues).
Yeah … the level of expectation...
hmm,... the poll doesn't make sense to me. The brackets seem arbitrary in relation to ownership of this vehicle. I am generally curious about the outcome of such a poll even though I try to constantly remind myself not to look at my neighbors garden.
I agree. Your relationship with the materialistic is odd at best and cringe at the least.
Just kidding… somewhat… Whether or not this is a new low point for you with Rivian, it makes Rivian and your truck ever so slightly better than before once it is resolved.
And here I am, still excited and waiting to get the notification that my vehicle is ready to update. With the above debacle playing out, I'm super comfortable accepting an update notification as I bluntly assume they wouldn't continue with the madness...
The Wrangler 4xe also has the battery right below the rear bench. You can lift the bench up and quite literally look at it. So it would seem weird that Rivian wouldn't be able to put it there.
Especially the mild hybrid and plug in hybrid BMWs are still struggling with early generation problems. Just go on to Bimmerpost and check how many of the folks there have bricked vehicles struggling with the 48V system tied to the ICE. BMW is still new to this game compared to others.
Back on topic to the OPs actual question on delivery timeline concerns versus peoples opinions of max pack value:
I ordered an R1 from the shop with max pack and I went from ordering to delivery in less than 4 weeks. Based on my own experience, I would say you can have a max pack just as fast as...
10/22: Bought Dual Performance Max Pack from Rivian Shop
10/26: Received end of November delivery window estimate
11/8: Vehicle ready for delivery
11/11: Scheduled delivery
What loophole? I thought the credit, even on lease, is now limited by income level. Ie if you fall into the $400k+ annual income category you’re not getting the credit anyway.
With everything happening in the EV market right now, what are the chances that Rivian is going to follow suit on Tesla, Lucid et cetera and lower its entry level prices for the R1T and R1S over the next few months?
$88k for a basically brand new R1T Max Pack is a very good price. He was lucky to get the earlier sticker price but right now this config is going for ~97k in the store.
i would have gone for this had I not already pulled the trigger on a fully loaded Max Pack for $101k.
then again, I’ve done...
