1st experience with Franklin service center

Anyone else used this one? They don’t seem to be very friendly or accommodating.

They just put a windshield in my truck. Dropped it off Friday 4/28 and picked it up Monday 5/1. The one guy there I dealt with was nice and good to work with but it seems like they are shorthanded. I was pretty upset learning at the last minute that I would have to make two trips. Both my conversations with Rivian CS revolved around it being a one day trip. I found out the day before the procedure calls for a 24hr cure and Franklin isn‘t open on Saturday for service work. None of that was on the Franklin guys though.

I have used ATL twice and this was my first time to Franklin. The distance for me is almost equal and I will ALWAYS prefer BHM-Franklin vs BHM-ATL, hence why I went north this time.

The ATL staff is ok, but they don't seem great at communication either. It's almost like it's a company wide thing.

I take it as more proof that all service departments are somehow the same ?

Having done BHM-ATL hundreds of times I find myself happier if I avoid that route at all cost.

It's also a pain in the ass to get to where it is, especially coming down 85. Since the Carolinas are never getting their own SC, Rivian just needs to add another ATL SC on the upper beltway.

I honestly can't think of anyone who wouldn't be happier avoiding Atlanta at all costs.

Indeed! Coming from the west the last few miles are all terrible roads and there’s nothing nearby in that industrial area. At least the Franklin SC is in old downtown Franklin with lots of places to walk to if you’re lucky enough to get your work done same day.

I had no problem with my trip there to have the tires rotated and and few minor squeaks listened to
I enjoyed sitting and talking with the guy and girl up front
Being open on Saturday and having RAN chargers would be nice
Went to the Walmart to use the chargers and two weren’t working and the others were occupied and I had to get back to north Alabama for another appointment
Though I did get to see a Lucid ?
