I love it, I'm planning to do the same with my R1S wheels when I get it this summer. What did you do with the center caps? I wonder if you can buy the gloss black caps for the 20" black wheels if they fit?Just got my wheels back from shop. Went gloss black on the factory off-road 20’s. Snail Motorsports in North Las Vegas did an amazing job!

Of course they would. The can’t control the coating process and don’t want to be held liable for things that isn’t their doing.
It’s an epoxy powder, hence powder coating. For sake of adhesion, the wheel is stripped down to bare metal, then given a solvent bath, dried and electrostatically charged so powder would stick as it is sprayed/blown on; including hard to reach nooks and crannies. Once in the oven, the power melts to form an even, durable and chemically resistant outer shell.
You can pop out the emblems and rattle can the existing center caps.
Can I ask how much? They look great. I was looking at the black ATs initially but they’re a little too techy, so I got the standard.
Typically 200-400 per wheel. Depending on shop rate and color. Simple solid colors usually on the low side.
