I finished the install and yes, the cameras are pretty bad, especially when you have a Tesla in the same driveway. Not only is the Tesla clearer but larger, maybe because it’s on the center screen.

Is it me or does the Birdseye camera quality look sharper than the side view cameras.

I don’t have anything to compare it to so I can imagine your disappointment

Typical. There are 100,000 cars to update. You’ll get it, be patient.

Came from an LX470 which drove more like a car than a truck. Had the R1S gen 1 8 months. Felt more like a truck/boat than a car. As of this update it feels like my Lx470 is back. Very happy with this new suspension upgrade. I ride all purpose. Soft, high regen.

Just received a message on my phone that an update is available. But there was nothing that showed up in the car. Does not show downloading or anything in the app or on the car.

This is for an 2024 R1S Quad purchased in the last two weeks or so.

The new UI is nice like the hvac updates a lot. The suspension updates were a home run more than I thought they would be

It’s pretty good.
I like the new fonts and the driving/suspension seems improved.
The driving mode screen changes are nice but I’m indifferent as to whether it’s an “improvement”.
I’m indifferent on the blind spot display (and may just turn it off).
I don’t like the changes to the HVAC controls. It’s harder to see which vents are active and the button for front/rear moved to a less easy place to press.
With all the focus on graphics, they couldn’t move the clock to the middle so the driver can actually see it? Or add a clock/temp widget to the driver screen?

They did not move clock and outside temp but the new fonts does make it easier to read.
