2024.47.0 Update Spotted!

Took delivery of an R1T TriMax in mid November and I'm still on 2024.39.32 (and haven't been pushed .43 per RivianRoamer).

I'm assuming at this point that I'll be going straight to the holiday update. Is this typical?

I'd call Rivian service and have them push you the .43 update. I had to do that when I picked up my R1S in August when an update came out right before I picked it up.

Someone on FB got the new update and said that they removed the ability to control music from the second row. IMO that's pretty terrible. I find it quite convenient to have my kids control music and not pester me while i'm driving to switch songs. if this is true, pretty big L in my books

Okay, now why isn’t Wassym on Bluesky? I understand that Rivian wants to be on X for the reach, but a lot of Rivian customers want to avoid the X cesspool as much as we want to avoid Cyberdumpsters.

I guess it depends on the age of the kids. Mine are 9 and 5. The 9 year old is pretty responsible with it and doesn't screw around.

My personal experience is 180 degree opposite of yours.
I'm not sure how old my kids will need to be for me to want them to control the music from the back. At this point, I am feeling like they'll need to be old enough to buy their own Rivian.

It'd be best if Rivian can enable customization of the back screen so we can choose what functions it does or does not have. Music control is the main reason I had my back screen locked out.
