Had to log out and back into AppleMusic. Soft reset did not jar it.

Waited extra at a stop light to hear the beep. Beep - excitement over. LOL

Anyone else notice the Alexa voice seems to be ignoring the volume setting? It is very soft and the Alexa volume slide only seems to change the beep not the voice.

I tried an infotainment reset, no change. I sent feedback to Rivian through the app.

Updated.

Love the smart turn signals.

I can't say I've noticed a ton of difference with the ride. Rivian states improved ride over uneven surfaces, so it implies they soften the anti-roll hydraulics to prevent the side to side rocking that happens when going over speed bumps or pot holes diagonally. Not sure how that would affect the ride in a straight line however. But then my standard for a smooth ride is Mercedes Airmatic, and I don't think Rivian will ever make it as cloudy soft as that.

Well looks like mine didn’t download properly
Rear camera not working (thought it was just coincidence at first but then the other problems popped up)
Other cameras look like they have a haze or sun glare on them (I did clean them)
Go chime works but not the turn signal lane change (still have the always on and three ticks)
Alexa cuts out a lot like it loses signal or trying to capture the signal
Alexa Volume is lower than recent normal at startup - it works as normal once you thumb wheel it up and down then set at same as recent
Tried a soft reset with no change
Texting with SC at the moment

Yes, and in fact the Alexa voice is now controlled by the MUSIC volume (while the chimes are still controlled by Alexa volume); however, if you turn the volume up for the Alexa voice to be the right volume, the music is way too loud.

Question: how do you send feedback about a bug without opening a service appointment?

On the vehicle tab of the App scroll down to the bottom and there is a link for share feedback.

My R1S was updated last night, but lost SiriusXM and TuneIn connectivity this morning.
TuneIn needed relogging in again, and SiriusXM came back in the afternoon.

I got the update. I haven't noticed any difference in the smoothness of the ride. To be fair, I don't notice any difference between "soft" "moderate" and "firm" or whatever the three suspension settings are either.

I definitely don't notice any improvement in infotainment response. It's still, "hit temperature" one mississippi, two mississippi, until the HVAC controls pop up. Same when switching between the map and the vehicle controls. I wish they had put a faster processor in the G2s.

Maybe it’s total placebo, but driving around my neighborhood is noticeably smoother post update. The old concrete streets are in rough shape and its always been a jarring ride until now.

I have some cool (30s) weather coming up so I plan to test the improved AC charging. Here’s hoping.

The ride improvement is going diagonally over speed bumps and driveway approaches, it stiffens the rebound to reduce jostling.

There are a couple I hit occasionally and it does seem to be much better than it was.

I take it back. After driving home, it does drive much smoother than before. Way less side to side when going over uneven pavement.

I stand behind not being able to tell the difference between the ride feel settings though. 🤣

So my initial reaction to the update was that I had been logged out of of everything. But, perhaps there's more... The tonneau cover on my `25 R1T won't open - the Vehicle screen display has it Red-ed out. In addition, I can't do a full reset. I get a message on the driver's screen saying that the hazard lights have failed and that I need service.

I just got in my 2024 R1T Gen1 to see if I had this update. I do not. I also got a prompt for key fob update. I went inside to get the key fob update, and when I got back in the truck, the message was gone. I don't know if that message was "your key *might* need an update, and when the truck saw the key nearby and queried the version, it decided no update was necessary.

I'll be curious to see if the same thing occurs on 2025.10.
I did the same thing an update or 2 ago and wasted my time getting my fob.

For your tonneau cover, perform the tonneau reset procedure. Click, click, click, hold. It should fully open and then close.
