It is possible, it's shown on their website. It says current charging speed is 220kw, but in the future charging speeds will be enabled to over 300kw.
Hey I sure hope that happens! It's hard to complain about my last road trip's best charge. It drew about 200kw up to about 60% SOC and ~150kw to about 83%. It didn't dip below 100kw until 88%.

How are you liking your center console organizer? Mine just barely blocks the drawer from opening. Only by a couple mm. I'm going to need to Dremel it so I can open the drawer again.
I’m about to follow you. Getting rid of my 22 X plaid for a Trimotor S. Is the mirror tap the same as previous gen? I did the mirror tap in my Gen 1 R1T.Coming from a 2022 Model X. Loved my Tesla, was my second X, just wanted to get back into a real SUV again - had an Escalade for 10 years before my first X.
Picked it up 1 week ago. No issues with gaps, scratches or any cosmetic complaints. Quality has been great overall. Love the interior. I find the seats much nicer and much more comfortable than the Tesla including the the lumbar support being superior. Appreciate the motorized frunk. Love the default height of the vehicle on stock 22 inch wheels and the height and ride comfort adjustability and options Not a huge fan of auto always auto-reengaging but I'm counting on them fixing that in the future.
The only significant complaint I have is the sound system, it's unacceptable as is and coming from Tesla which was best in class, it's a bit painful listening to the R1S (I have premium audio). It seems capable just poorly tuned. I'm optimistic it will improve in the future via a SW update. Not a major issue but I wish the driver profiles would synch to the music services, navigation addresses and history, etc... to be more personalized to the secondary driver versus tied to owner/primary driver. I'm sure it's coming. An minor irk is that under some AC settings theres a little vibration that can be felt on the touchscreen.
Completely different ride and feel from the Tesla but that's not bad. The Tesla feels like a low CG, stiff suspension, peppy sports car and the Rivian feels like what it is a big, heavy, comfortable, and capable SUV. That's what I wanted and it delivered. Very happy with the car. I look for excuses to drive it because I'm enjoying it so much.
Really excited for all the future SW updates and the new features and capabilities that will come with them especially Android casting support. Reminds me of the early years of SW updates with my first Tesla 7 years ago but Tesla's updates for my previous car have been few and far between in the past year other than autopilot improvements (however in their defense they are years ahead of Rivian so they don't necessarily need so many updates).

I’m not sure that can be fixed via an OTA update or they would have done it already. I think it has more to do with the thermals/amount of heat that the battery pack can take.
