I have a friend who owns a wheel store and was asking him about 24"s for my r1s. He said vossen would punch the correct bolt pattern for these. when i got on their site they have photos of an r1s with the 24"s on it. It looked really cool but for the cost i'm not sure i would want to risk there being issues with performance or just overall poor ride feel. 99% of the time I'm driving on city streets but I do live in the Midwest where it does snow. Anyone have any thoughts on this or even do it? Here is the link to their page.

I was expecting a much different look reading the title. I assume they upsized these to make it look better but that it would rub? or am I just ignorant? lol

If you enjoy getting pinch-flats going over moderate potholes, go for it.

24s are all about style, not substance. If you value that style, go for it! It’s not a bad look. But know you are losing capability. Not only are the wheels expensive, but your tire choice will be *SUPER* limited. (Tires of the right size with the right load rating.) And those tires will be expensive, too.

Those look pretty cool, which they should at $8000 for a set. Wonder what those tires cost though?

They really do look sharp, but I would never do it. Especially at $2000/ wheel ?

I had 24" rims on my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT, just wondering how much milage loss per SOC it would be. My Tarkus on 21" today should get 321, but the few times I charged to 100%, I only saw 304 max.
But when it's time to swap rubber I may be swapping Rims as well...

The ride quality will definitely take a huge dump. Can't imagine the range impact as well.

Factor all costs as well. Those tires look expensive!

Looks like 285/40/R24 possibly Toyo Proxes ST 111 Link cheaper than the OEM tires but doesn't look like many options in that size as others have said but still more than OEM 21

And the tires size is nearly identical to the 22 or 21 OEM sizes.

Like others have said it would be a harsher ride, less rubber, especially on rough roads. That said this tire basically has the same sidewall as my Ioniq 5.

Finally, Someone who thinks like me.
Only reason I haven’t put 24’s on my truck is due to resale. Too many of these “truck guys” wouldn’t buy them when I sell the truck as they don’t understand what a sport truck is. 0-60 in 3 seconds with knobby tires makes all the sense in the world. Especially for someone who lives in the city who uses their truck to pick up stuff from Home Depot and haul my fishing rods around.
Mind you with a truck that will never see anything other than a beautiful sun heated south Florida paved road.
I’m all for it. Do it!! 285/40 series tire has plenty of sidewall!
At the time Only reason I didn’t get an f150 Shelby(not the off road version) was because I couldn’t bring my self to spend that much on a ford. And honestly at this point I’m glad I got the Rivian with 22’s

That is what I thought. Really my biggest concern would be loosing milage because of the wheels. Ride wouldn't matter too much.
Highway range will take a big hit. But I do like how they look.
