Hey all. So keeping myself honest. And letting you know about a fun little experiment.
Sidebar: 600 miles put on the truck last few days. And I truly feel so far it’s the best vehicle I have owned. And sadly, or fortunate to do so, have been able to own quite a few. (Sport sedans, Defenders, Land Rover LR4s, Land Cruiser, G wagon etc.)
anyway … since I am traveling for a few days, I intentionally left the truck outside in DC to test parasite drain. Not plugged in, of course. This is the app reading for the battery when I left it. Temps in 50s day time and 30s and 40s night time. Rain next two days. Gear guard on. Snapshot at departure and second snapshot after 36 hour (night time - reason I say that is that it does creep up a few miles when it warms back up daytime).
I will post more updates here every day for next couple of days. Departure shot was 13:00 on a sunny day about 55-60 degrees and shot after the truck ran for about 25 miles.
departure:
After 36 hours of the truck sitting during second night, just under 50 degrees early evening:
