Is this the same color as Evergreen, which has been shown by Rivian for a couple of years now?

If so, definitely not the same as Launch Green.

They should do a Seafoam Green. Like Limestone, just green. But I guess Ford has taken that name already.

According to the linked article from Rivian, it is the same as Launch Green, but renamed. Seems the folks at the plant really liked the color of the primer coat, and thus, Launch, er, Rivian Green was born.

Green happens to be the color most people can perceive the most different shades of because it falls right smack in the middle of the range of the electromagnetic spectrum our eyes are attuned to, between ultra violet and infrared. Probably has some evolutionary reason dealing with spotting prey or predators in grass or distinguishing between edible and poisonous or fresh or spoiled produce.

But, color is a tricky thing, because our perception of the color is so dependent on the color of the light illuminating it, the colors reflecting off of it, and the colors surrounding it. You can take a color swatch and swear it changes color depending on where and when you look at it.

My mom had a chevy that was a shade of blue, but under mercury vapor lights turned into a chocolate brown. The dealership didn't believe her, until she drove there one evening, and under the lights in their service bay, her blue crossover turned brown.
