Why hasn’t Rivian come out with different adapters to plug in to the mobile charger? I have 7 different plug adapters for our Tesla mobile charger and it will automatically adjust the amperage based on the adapter. I assumed Rivian was going to come out with other andapters eventually since they shipped 2 with our original one but it doesn’t seem like they have any intention too. It makes the Tesla mobile option far superior.

If you run a new business, with limited resources (manpower and capital) and have more urgent priorities—launch another model line at lower price points that more consumers can afford, and that mission requires thousands of man hours and hundreds of millions of dollars—would you ever think to devote resources to obscure power adapters that only a few in the US and Canada might find essential?

I don't understand why people keep treating like Tesla and Rivian operate on equal parameters and keep making comparisons based on false equivalences. Most R1 owners don't even used the mobile charger. They use faster means of recharging, hardwired 40+ Amp Level 2 or DCFC.

I have a ChargePoint with the 6-50 plug, I know that Grizzl-E also sells one. Porsche only used the 6-50 on their E Hybrids when I bought my first one, so that is what I wired for.

But the Tesla adapter at $35 is perfectly safe right?
What is it with this recent batch of Tesla owners on this forum? :CWL:

Yeah, the original EVSE I was using with that N6-50 receptacle was a Grizzl-E. :)
