The actual speed limit on this road is 55, FWIW. The speed limit on the dash was 85 for several miles, then went to 70 and 65 a few times. The actual speed limit never changed from 55.

Rivian uses cameras to detect speed limit signs. The sign could have been obstructed by trees or a vehicle.

There's only a couple of states west of the Mississippi with certain roadways of 80 MPH posted limits, and one section of tollway in TX with 85 MPH posted limit.

The only law firm that might take your case is Giuliani, Habba, and Ellis.
