And the tracking # they provide show that UPS did get it in Canada on the 10th, but for some reason doesnt actually show tracking info until today in Watertown, NY

I did not get the UPS tracking number yet....

I just sent them a reminder, let see. Not really urgent for me, but prefer to get some clarity.

I just wanted to share that I got my replacement, the newer adapter is even more heavy duty and solid than the prior iteration. Thank you so much to A2Z for standing behind the product, especially moreso, since I wasn't the original owner. I will actively look to get an A2Z when I need something next, its great to have a company that supports the product and users after the sale of the product.

The instructions for the replacement A2Z show a change in the plugging sequence. The adapter is now plugged in first to the vehicle, then the NACS plug goes into the adapter.
The Rivian-supplied adapter instructions show the adapter and NACS plug connected first, then connected to the vehicle.
Since I carry both adapters, I'm putting a label on each with the sequence.

interesting, it’s almost as if the A2Z is the adapter for the car, while the Rivian is the adapter for the charger. Once all connected there’s no difference, but that’s how I’ll rationalize it, because the A2Z is very sturdy, almost like something should be built as part of the car.

I have used all three, the old A2Z, the new A2Z, and the Tesla provided one, I always jut plug the cable into the adaptor and then plug it into the vehicle. Removing always unplug the adapter from the vehicle then unplug the cable from the adapter.

Has not been an issue for me doing it that way.

I assume they updated the tolerances between adaptor and NACS and recommend using the adaptor attached to the vehicle for leverage. I believe Lectron did the same after they recalled their first batch of NACS adaptor for being able to simply pull it apart mid charge

I recently received my free Rivian adapter, so I'm now ready to initiate the recall exchange of my A2Z V1 Typhoon. But the exchange program URL is broken: https://a2zevshop.com/apps/vep

EDIT: I got a quick response to my email to customer service. Be advised that the URL to initiate an exchange is now: https://a2zevshop.com/a/VE. Also, I now realize that any retaliatory tariff would not apply because you don't return the V1 adapter -- you dispose of it.
