My 23 R1S Quad is scheduled for service next week. On hot days the A/C does not comfortably cool the cabin. It just can't keep up, on auto or with recirculate on or off. It's much worse than my Chevy Volt and 20 year old Hyundai. Something is wrong or the A/C is crap. Most times though it's fine.
Of course this is a subjective thing and I have a feeling the problem will be dismissed as: "it's 100 degrees, of course it's not cooling as fast". And after some number of days waiting I'll be told it's "within spec". They may have a hard time reproducing the issue if it's not really hot.
If the SC finds nothing wrong, will I be billed for a service visit? Assuming it will be in there a few days or a week, will I also be billed for the rental?
