Alexa stopped working - 2024 R1T

New Owner as of about 3 weeks. First couple of weeks, Alexa worked fine. All of a sudden, it was no longer connected. When i go into apps - it just says that Alexa cannot connect, please try again later.

Thoughts / fixes?

This happened to me when Vivian (the R1S) was new. About 3 times. The instant fix is a quick infotainment reset- press down on left and right farthest outter steering wheel buttons for about 15 seconds and it resets. I don’t necessarily mind no Alexa BUT that also cuts off the navigation voice which I need. It’s been working fine after about 3 times with this but maybe an upgrade will fix?

I had it last week too. First time in 2 years. Soft didn't work either. But full reboot version with 4 way flasher button did work.

Well - soft reset did work actually. Had to go back to Alexa app and sign in again. All good.

Darn it.....2 days for me. Time to soft reset I guess....... ?

reboot didnt work for me. log out and log back in.

It has happened to me and my wife since we got the vehicle last December. Finicky and frustrating. I hope to have it fixed July 1 with a mobile appt. I am done doing soft resets. It is probably a bad chip somehwere? We cant get Alexa for my wife at all. It wont do two people. JB

You're not missing much. They said they will let you replace it with more Siri integration, that can't come too soon.

Alexia really doesn't work that well with maps. Hardly use it.

All Alexa related posts need funny titles. It's some weird rule on this forum. "Alexa stopped working." is not funny enough. Might I suggest something along the lines of "That B* Alexa up and quit on me!"
